Lovecraft and trying to prevent an Ancient One from devouring the world. \u00a0This game oozes theme and narrative which brings you into the world it creates.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Flash Point: Fire Rescue<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-677 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/traversecityboardgamers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/flash-point.jpg\" alt=\"flash point\" width=\"930\" height=\"523\" says teamwork like a firefighters. \u00a0This game brings the idea of putting out fires and saving lives into a board game form. \u00a0It&#8217;s wonderful how this can bring a team together.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>What is a Semi-Cooperative Game?<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>These games share almost every aspect of mechanics with cooperative games but with one very important difference. \u00a0The difference being that there is an element of conflict between the players that keep some of the players away from victory. \u00a0This comes in various forms depending on the game that is being played. \u00a0Some games will have a traitor that will be secretly working against the group from within with their own set of goals. \u00a0Other semi-cooperative games will only grant victory to one player so back stabbing may be involved. \u00a0They can also feature teams that are working together to beat other teams that are playing the game.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Examples of Semi-Cooperative Games<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Dead of Winter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-659 size-large\" traitor that is trying to sabotage the other players attempts to stop a zombie horde from eating their faces. \u00a0Very dark but also is very good. \u00a0Players will be constantly questioning every move the other players make and always watching their backs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Between Two Cities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-678 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/traversecityboardgamers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/between-2-cities.jpg\" alt=\"between 2 cities\" width=\"930\" height=\"523\" srcset=\"https:\/\/traversecityboardgamers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/between-2-cities.jpg 930w, https:\/\/traversecityboardgamers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/between-2-cities-300x169.jpg 300w, building two cities that will be on either side of them with the players that are sitting next to them. \u00a0This forces players to work together in choosing buildings that they will need but also making sure that they aren&#8217;t passing tiles that other players will need.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Fury of Dracula<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-676 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/traversecityboardgamers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Fury-Of-Dracula-1024x605.jpg\" alt=\"Fury-Of-Dracula\" the role of Dracula and the other players as the hunters. \u00a0Players will have to be very clever to solve this one as Dracula will have the benefit of hidden movement that they will have to contend
